Cat licked a bitShould I be worried If my cat licked a bit. I googled and it says essential oils are toxic to cats.
Thanks
Ana
Hello and thank you for the inquiry.
TropiClean does not recommend direct application of the home spray on cats due to the potential for a sensitive reaction. This being said, indirect use on surfaces is perfectly acceptable around cats. A toxicologist has reviewed this product and determined there is not a specific danger from toxicity when the product is used as directed. TropiClean would recommend removing the cat from areas you are going to treat and allowing the spray to dry before allowing the cat back in the room. This would prevent the spray from sticking on the fur and the cat to subsequently lick it, potentially increasing the possibility of an uncommon sensitive reaction. We hope this information helps!

Hello Jimmy and thank you for the inquiry.
While there is a very small chance that a pet may be allergic to an ingredient in a product, these instances are rare and in the vast majority of uses the pet does not have any adverse effect with the product even if they should have to ingest a small amount through licking. We hope this information helps!
