Your 3D Microguard states that it: DISSOLVES plaque & tartar, DESTROYS bad breath & DEFENDS against new formation.
This website and the bottle itself both state that the Advanced Whitening Water Additive contains the 3D Microguard & that it "dissolves" plaque & tartar.
So please provide which specific ingredient(s) in this Fresh Breath Advanced Whitening Water Additive "Dissolves" plaque and tartar?
I am only asking because based on the ingredients listed on this website and the bottle, none of the ingredients seem to actually be able to "dissolve" plaque and tartar.
So why do you guys claim that it "dissolves" plaque & tartar?

Thank you for your question regarding the TropiClean Advanced Whitening Water Additive. This product has a number of ingredients that work together to fulfill the claims listed. To be as specific as possible, the Cetylpyridinuim Chloride and the Zinc chloride work to eliminate the plaque forming bacteria that, if left untreated, would develop plaque and eventually tartar once the plaque hardens. Is this safe for cats too?We bought this product for our dog but we also have cats that drink from the same bowl don't wanna add it to the water until I know for sure this product is safe for cats as well.

TropiClean does not recommend our Advanced Whitening Water Additive for cats due to their different ph level and potential for sensitivities. Our original formula Fresh Breath water additive is recommended for both dogs and cats 6 months and older. We hope this information helps!
